Empire Controls have a range of heat meters for heating and cooling applications.

The ultrasonic thermal heat meters are designed for measuring energy in all types of heating installations where water is used as the heat conveying medium. Ultrasonic measuring and microprocessor technology are the foundation of the heat meters. All circuits for calculating, measuring temperature and flow are combined in a single board construction. This gives the heat meter a compact design and ensures optimal measuring quality and a high degree of reliability. The Empire Controls range of heat meters are extremely simply to install and read saving time and money. With flow rates of 0.6 m3/hr to 1800 m3/hr and sizes 3/4″ bsp up to 10″ flanged are available.

Empire Controls have a wide range of meters for varying oil liquids and temperatures.

The Empire Controls range of oil meters are accurate, reliable and an economical oil meter for monitoring and control of the consumption of oil. The positive displacement provides high accuracy, low pressure drops and easy maintenance. This range of oil meters are suitable for petrol, diesel, heating oil, bio diesel, fuel oil and are all available with pulse output. With flow rates of 1 ltr/hr to 20,000 ltr/hr and sizes 4mm up to 80mm are available.

The U1000 is an ultrasonic permanent/fixed clamp-on flow metering solution for measuring flow rate – with a volume pulse output, which can be used as a stand alone meter or as an integral part of an aM&T or BEM’s system.

Simple to install – clamp-on to the pipe, connect power and enter the pipe diameter, no specialist skills or tools required!
